Estonia and Finland will finance one of the beamlines at the Max IV Laboratory in Lund, Sweden. This is the first major international investment in MAX IV, worth around EUR 4 million. An important step in the Max Lab’s aim to become and international laboratory.

- Through participation in this project Estonian research will be strengthened and get more international attention, says Marco Kirm, Assistant Vice-Chancellor for Research at the University of Tartu, one of the partners in Science Link.
