The visit was hosted by Science Link and the lead partner DESY represented by the Director for Administration, Dr. Christian Scherf, and project manager Katariina Röbbelen-Voigt.

The delegation visited the European Spallation Source (ESS) now an associate partner in Science Link, and the three Science Link partners in the Malmö-Copenhagen region; the Technical University of Copenhagen, the University of Lund and Invest in Skåne, the official regional promotion agency.

Science Link plays an important complementary role to the current  Röntgen-Angström-Cluster cooperation, between Germany and Sweden, which also works for improved cooperation between scientific and industrial partners in the Baltic Sea Region.
