Science Link’s lead partner DESY, represented by the Director for Administration, Christian Scherf and the project manager Katariina Röbbelen-Voigt, hosted the visit from the Minister of Science and Research of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg along with 14 representatives from universities and scientific institutions in Hamburg.

Apart form a visit to the European Spallation Source ESS is (now an associate partner in Science Link), the delegation also visited three of Science Link’s partners in the Öresund region, the Technical University of Copenhagen, the University of Lund as well as Invest in Skåne.

As a complement to the current Röntgen-Angström-Cluster cooperation between Germany and Sweden, Science Link plays an important role in an improved cooperation between scientific and industrial partners in the Baltic Sea Region.
